Year 2 Fieldwork: Welcome to ‘Sandcastle Bay’! 🗺️
Our Year 2 geographers transformed the playground into Sandcastle Bay Beach to investigate litter distribution. They collected and tallied data, ready to analyse their findings next week as they continue developing their geography skills for KS2. 📊
We also used our Science knowledge of the 3 Rs – Reduce, Reuse and Recycle to discuss what people could do with their rubbish instead of leaving it on the beach. ♻️
Afterwards, everyone worked together for a beach clean-up, discovering just how much teamwork can achieve! 🧹💪
We’re so proud of our eco-warriors and future geographers! 🌍✨

Year 6 had an exciting opportunity to develop essential skills in critical thinking, communication and problem-solving during the BET Connects Future Skills Week. The children were set the task of designing, marketing and pitching a unique future-facing prosthetic that enhanced the life of its user. At the end of the week, these were presented to a panel of ‘Dragons’. We were so proud of the creativity and innovative use of technology the children showed throughout the week! #FutureSkills #everypersonshines @bourneeducationtrust

Hot weather, high energy and huge school pride 💚💜Well done to our amazing dancers who took part in last week’s dance festival at Epsom Playhouse. Dealing the boiling heatwave was no easy task but they kept going and gave it 100%. We closed the show for the first time this year and lead the finale which was amazing! You did us all proud! #proudschool #everypersonshines #community @epsomplayhouse
