School Dinners
New Catering Company from 6th January 2026
We are pleased to inform you that, from 6th January (after the Christmas break) our school will be working with a new catering company called Cucina.
One of the key benefits of our partnership with Cucina is that children will now be able to switch freely between school lunches and packed lunches from home, we understand that this was something that many parents felt strongly about. Cucina also offer a choice of filled rolls (tuna mayo, cheese, egg, chicken, ham) for if your child doesn't want a cooked meal.
Parents and carers will book meals directly through the Cucina booking app, which will give families greater flexibility and control. Further information and login details for the app will be shared with you soon.
The cost of school meals will remain at £3.00 per meal for those students that pay (Reception, year 1 and year 2 will remain free of charge).
The Cucina app includes 19 language options (English, Bulgarian, Danish, German, Greek, Spanish, French, Gaelic, Hungarian, Italian, Dutch, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Swedish, Turkish, Ukrainian, and Chinese), which we hope will make the system more accessible for all members of our school community.
If you have any questions in the meantime, please don’t hesitate to contact the school office office@epsom.surrey.sch.uk
School dinners are funded for pupils in reception and KS1. Lunches need to be paid for from KS2.

Packed Lunches
At Epsom Primary School, we ask that you ensure packed lunches are healthy and well-balanced, as we do encourage healthy eating at school.
Try these healthy-packed lunch ideas.
Please note the following points about packed lunches:
- No nuts. The school is a nut-free school so please check carefully and avoid nut products in lunch boxes. Some of our children have severe nut allergies.
- No sweets, chocolates or fizzy drinks
- No glass bottles or breakable containers
