Year 1 Seaside Workshop

Last week Year 1 took part in a fantastic Seaside Workshop

The activities of the day were based around the Victorian era when seaside holidays first became popular. The children made items including shell boxes, souvenir mugs, little boats and postcards. They also become customers and servers in The Pier Cafe, visited The Photographer’s Shop to have their picture taken in traditional costumes, watch a Punch and Judy show and host and visit stalls such as Hook a Duck, Fortune Tellers and Souvenirs

It was a very engaging and rewarding day for everyone!
