Free Days Out - Recommendations
Thank you to the following families for recommending some fantastic free 'rich experiences' for us to share with you...
1. Fitzwilliam Museum - Cambridge Recommended by The Thornton Family
"We have had the opportunity to visit Cambridge during the half term. We managed to get a free online booking slot to explore Fitzwilliam Museum. The online staff are sooo helpful to accommodate last minute bookings and tried their best to fit us in. It was an amazing experience for our family, looking around the 200 year old museum and saw all of the beautiful art and history. Our favourite parts were the high ceilings, the staircase hall and the statues. We would definitely recommend families to visit this place to anyone with or without kids!"
2. Langley Vale Wood Recommended by The Burlison Family "Tom planted some trees two years ago at Langley Vale Wood with Beavers and was excited to see how tall they’ve grown.
Tom and Jacob walked the remembrance trail and saw some statues of soldiers. "
3. Colchester Castle - Colchester
Recommended by The Plummer Family
"We went to Colchester which is in Essex and about an hour and half’s drive away from Epsom. My mummy grew up here and my nanny and great grandma still live here.
There is a big castle in Colchester that is one of the biggest in the whole of Europe! It also has a lovely park around it.
There is also a big park in Colchester called Highwoods Country Park. We did a fun Halloween trail there and it has a really cool playground in the woods made of wood! It is one of my favourite places to visit. I have attached some photos of my brothers and I on the Halloween trail and a picture of Colchester castle. "
Please keep sending your recommendations in to the school. We would love to hear from you!
