Easter at EPS

EPS pupils have had been busy taking part in lots of Easter themed activities for their last week of term.

Easter Eggs from the Friends and Family of EPS

Our PTA team (FFoEPS) created an Easter Hunt for the pupils to enjoy on the last day of term. After a very challenging term for everyone, their dream was to ensure EVERY child went home with a chocolate egg... That's over 500 chocolate eggs!

They invited donations to this amazing event, and they received a total of £744.75 of £550.00 target! Thank you to all who donated!

Each year group had the chance to find letters that were hidden around the playground which would eventually spell an Easter related word. It was great fun for all of the children and staff! See images below:

Year 2 Easter Gardens

Year 2 have been looking at a new scheme of RE learning and explored why Easter is important to Christians. We linked this to our Art learning where Andy Goldsworthy uses nature to create pieces of art and worked in groups to create our own Easter Garden using nature.

We are able to talk about all the different parts of Easter Gardens and how Christians use each part to represent the different elements of the Easter story. We had so much fun making them!

We wish you all a wonderful Easter Break and look forward to seeing you back on Monday 19th April.
