Epsom Primary School
Christmas at EPS 2019

We have had a fantastic month of spreading Christmas joy!
Take a look at some of our highlights below
Reception Nativity
Well done to our adorable pupils in Reception for their fantastic Nativity performance! Miss Beck, Mrs Chokshi, Mrs Louch and Mrs Knight were extremely proud.
Christmas Festive Dress day
Our annual Christmas lunch was a joyous, tasty and thoroughly noisy affair. It was also our Christmas Mufti Day which helped us raise money towards the Creative Arts Lodge fund!
Special Delivery!
Our amazing children, from Nursery through to Year 6 have been out delivering their beautiful, handmade Christmas cards to all of our neighbours to spread some festive joy!
Jingle Bell Rock
The Children (and teachers!) enjoyed a morning and afternoon of dancing & singing while competing in our Christmas Contest. Congratulations to the winning classes!
A special trip to Waterstones
Children were selected to receive a reward for their commitment and progress in reading at home. The reward was to go to Waterstones to buy a book funded by the school. After purchasing their books, they all enjoyed a cup of hot chocolate with marshmallows and chocolate cake! The children were so well behaved and well mannered, Mrs Reynolds was very proud of them.
“I have had a lovely afternoon, my favourite part was having hot chocolate and reading my new book” - Diana
"I feel proud and can’t stop smiling. My favourite part was choosing my own book.” - Jack

After School Club
Extended provision enjoyed a wonderful Christmas party this week. They made Christmas themed hats, decorated paper chains and made Christmas cards for friends and family. They had a special party dinner with lots of treats, followed by a variety of party games where they had the opportunity to win themselves a Christmas gift. Everyone looked fabulous in their festive dress. A happy Christmas to you all from Extended provision.
EPS perform at St Barnabas Church
The school took two trips to St Barnabas church to sing Christmas songs in the beautiful surroundings. The church was full of families ready to listen to a repertoire of songs sung by individual year groups.
The children performed beautifully and Mrs Tubby, with the help of Mr Morris have done an amazing job, as usual, getting everyone in the right place at the right time and, more importantly singing the right notes!
Mrs Pollard's Pause for Thought

From all of the staff at Epsom Primary & Nursery School, we wish you all a Merry Christmas and a very happy New Year!
See you all on Monday 6th January at 8:35am
