EPS Years 3 and 4's won the Indoor Athletics Competition out of 10 schools!

Girls Football Team Well done to our Year 5/6 girls football team who took part in Surrey's Girls Football Rally held at Priest Hill on Thursday 14th November.
The girls went from strength to strength and showed great team work and passion with some amazing results. Our team won 1 match, drew 3 and lost 1. Year 6 classes recently visited Henley Fort. They got to take part in a range of World War Two activities including becoming a Home Guard and an ARP Warden.

EPS have had a very musical few weeks! Reception pupils enjoyed their very own private piano performance from Lucy (Year 5, Jaguars) who is a Grade 6 pianist. She played them two pieces of music that were very different. The children listened really carefully to the music and thought about how the music made them feel. This term, Year 3 have learnt all about different types of soil and rocks and their properties as well as fossils. On Wednesday, Year 3 were treated to an exciting talk and workshop by Clem Hardy, a geologist, who shared his expertise on the Earth's history, rock formation and fossils. The pupils really enjoyed exploring different rocks in the world and the equipment used by geologists. #ks2 #science #workshop
Year 4, 5 and 6 have had the chance to attend their own Reading Cafes in the school library. It's been a wonderful opportunity for families to spend some quality time with their children in school and enjoy breakfast and a book together. Today, EPS hosted another Highly Able and More Able (HAMA) workshop, this time for the Year 5 and 6 pupils who have been identified as a ‘more able’ student in English. We were also joined by five other primary schools in the area and their HAMA pupils. Our key speaker was poet, song writer, musician and rapper, Rob Bradley.
